Many people have never heard of breathwork, yet it's been around for thousands of years. Learn what it is and if it's something you might want to try.

Breathing is one of the simple ways in which we stay alive, it also fuels athletes, births babies, and is instrumental in creating many types of music and art. Breathwork has been around for centuries as one of our human super powers. It's roots lie in ancient shamanic practices of South and North American as well as Eastern medicinal and spiritual practices. It has been used to balance emotions, treat addiction and depression, release trauma, and create a joyful experience of oneness.
Practicing both in group settings and committing to a daily practice can change the way you live your life without actually changing your life. How does this work? In using specific breathing methods a person brings in a continued source of oxygen and life force into the body, this process releases old triggers and patterns, clearing both cellular memory, energy blockages, and sometimes even relieving physical pain or illness. Overtime we are brought back to our authentic, joyful state where we then live from a place of compassion, acceptance, forgiveness, and grace. Breathing, the most natural thing we do, just might be our best kept secret.
